Arcane Bot

Technology stack: Python, REST APIs

Overview: A multi-tasking, self learning bot with following features:

• Answer basic questions from the Employee Handbook using NLP
• For questions whose answer it can not find in its corpus, it asks the requester to suggest the name of the person who can answer that question. The bot then asks the suggested person for the answer, and upon receiving it stores it in its corpus. Next time it will have the answer to the previously unknown question.
• Floor plan with highlighted seat number of the requested employee by name.
• Sentiment analysis of English sentences.
• Showing the office location embedded in google maps for all CLSA offices. The issue here was that google maps are restricted in China. So, it had to smartly return the map as per the request and the requester's location.
